His Majesty the King gave the principles related to the aerator
and its function to the Royal Irrigation Department, Ministry of Agriculture
and Cooperatives, on 24 December 1988. The Office of Water Machine Research
and Development of the Royal Irrigation Department's Workshop Division
was given the task of inventing the
to treat polluted water. To support this work, His Majesty donated funds
from the Chai Pattana Foundation for the development and construction of
the necessary equipment and to conduct research and experiments in accordance
with the conditions in the test area.
Based on His Majesty the King's principles, the Royal Irrigation Department
built, studied and conducted research on nine models of aerators, as follows:
