Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn granted a permission to the Chaipattana Foundation to sign the memorandum of understanding in selling “Jun Ka Pak Jasmine Rice” with Thai Airways International Public Company Limited. The Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development of the Chaipattana Foundation will sell the Jun Ka Pak Jasmine Rice to Thai Airways for use in preparing food for First Class and Business Class passengers, including other purposes of Thai Catering.

The Chaipattana Foundation and Thai Airways International Public Company Limited have a common intention to support Thai farmers who grow safe and organic rice, including the effort to promote Thailand’s premium jasmine rice to the world arena through Thai Airways. By this, the Thai jasmine rice will become well-known, while the Thai farmers can earn additional income.
