Highland Agricultural Development Study Center Project in Paksong, Champasak, Lao PDR

On 14 January 2025, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Member and Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the meeting of the Project Working Committee for the Highland Agricultural Development Study Center in Paksong District, Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).

This project is a collaboration between the Chaipattana Foundation, Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (RDPB), Champasak University, Kasetsart University, the Department of Fisheries, and the Department of Land Development. Its primary objective is to develop highland agriculture in Paksong District, Champasak Province, Lao PDR, while serving as a learning center for professors and students from Champasak University, including local farmers to further apply their agricultural knowledge in career development.
