Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation Attends the Executive Committee Meeting of Rama IX Golden Jubilee Temple

On 3 April 2025, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Member and Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, attended the first Executive Committee Meeting of Rama IX Golden Jubilee Temple for the year 2025 (Meeting 1/2025) at the meeting room of the Royal Dhamma Studies Office, Sanam Luang, Bangkok.

“Rama IX Golden Jubilee Temple” is a religious site established under the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. His Late Majesty intended the temple to be a “small temple of simplicity, economy, and modernity serving as a spiritual and faith center, as well as a source of knowledge in religion, society, and ethics for youth and the community. Its purpose is to cultivate moral awareness and social responsibility for the benefit of the nation. His Late Majesty emphasized that there should be a temple in the area with monks to provide guidance to local residents. It is not necessary for the temple to be large or grand; rather, it should be designed to serve the needs of the community, guided by the principles of simplicity, frugality, and optimal benefit.
