Opening Ceremony of the “Chaipattana–Chula Fair”
On 6 September 2025, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Member and Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, together with Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, jointly presided over the opening of the “Chaipattana–Chula Fair” under the theme “The Power of Unseen” at Siam Square One Shopping Center.
The fair was held on 6–7 September 2025, from 12:00 to 21:00, aiming to raise awareness of the Chaipattana Foundation’s work among the younger generation. Chulalongkorn University students designed and communicated the Foundation’s initiatives through contemporary, lifestyle-oriented formats, inspiring attendees and fostering awareness of sustainable social and environmental development.
Highlights of the event included:
- Exhibition booths: featuring products from PatPat and various Chaipattana Foundation projects, such as the Ampawa-Chaipattananurak Conservation Project in Samut Songkhram Province, the Agricultural Service Center of the Chaipattana Foundation in Pathum Thani Province, and the Chaipattana Vocational Park Project in Nakhon Pathom Province.
- Student booths: showcasing creative culinary creations, handmade products, and souvenirs.
- Exhibitions: telling the stories of the Foundation’s development projects through the perspective of Chulalongkorn University students, focusing on agriculture, environment, culture, disaster relief, and more.
- Workshops: designed by students to engage contemporary youth, using materials from Foundation projects, such as herbal inhalers, cocoa cookie dough, and resin flower crafts.
- Inspiration stage: featuring talks from experienced professionals in various fields and mini-concerts by Chulalongkorn University students.
- Photo spots & interactive zones: for capturing memories, participating in activities, and sharing experiences on social media.
