Press Conference for the Launch of the Book “I’m So Bored” by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul
On 14 October 2025, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Member and Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, participated in a discussion at the launch event of the new book “I’m So Bored: Even Boredom Can Always Give Us Something to Think About” at the Activity Stage of the 30th National Book Fair, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The book reveals another side of Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul’s life, both past and present, through a collection of stories that may appear ordinary at first glance yet provoke reflection - some filled with inexplicable stories, while others offer strikingly clear insights. Written in the warm, witty, and thoughtful tone of a man who understands life, these stories transform boredom into a charming form of entertainment, rich with meaning and surprising depth.
The book “I’m So Bored: Even Boredom Can Always Give Us Something to Think About” is available at the price of 149 baht and published by the Chulalongkorn University Book Center. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Chaipattana Foundation.
