On 5 June 2026, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Member and Senior Special Advisor of the Chaipattana Foundation, together with the Foundation's executive team, welcomed Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, who paid a visit to discuss the plan in organizing the commemorative exhibition marking the 10^th anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. The meeting was organized at the Chaipattana Foundation Office in Bangkok.

The exhibition will be held as part of the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings, which Thailand is honoured to host from 12 - 18 October 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event will feature a range of activities showcasing Thailand's strengths across various dimensions while paying tribute to the profound benevolence and enduring legacy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. In addition, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recognized His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great as a Great Personality of the World and has joined in commemorating the 100^th anniversary of His Birth in 2027, in recognition of His Late Majesty’s outstanding contributions to improving the quality of life and well-being of people.
