HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Inspects the Progress of Kasornkasiwit School in Sa Kaeo Province

On January 2, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn traveled to Kasornkasiwit School in Sa Kaeo Province to inspect the project’s progress. There, Her Royal Highness was briefed on damages resulting from the recent flood along with a summary of reconstruction and restoration. Her Royal Highness then inspected the project’s organic rice berry plots and water chestnut plots.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness also visited the construction site of Chaipattana floating houses, which is a collaborative project between the Chaipattana Foundation and the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Finally, Her Royal Highness inspected the buffalo corral, which houses 17 buffaloes. Currently, Kasornkasiwit School organizes approximately 10-12 training courses on traditional rice farming using buffaloes to interested farmers and persons each year.
