HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presides over the End of Academic Year Ceremony of the Chaipittayapat School

On March 8, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the end of 2013 academic year ceremony of the Chaipittayapat School, Bangkok.

In 2013, there were a total of 195 students from kindergarten to grade 6 enrolled at the Chaipittayapat School. Apart from core subjects, the school also introduced Chinese language and Tae Kwon Do classes to the curriculum to enhance students’ skills in non-academic areas. The royally-initiated information technology project also provided an ‘Active Board’ for the ICT learning laboratory to improve students’ communication and other practical skills. In addition, the School, in collaboration with Pac Rim Group, encouraged students to participate in an activity called ‘The Leader in Me’ to develop students’ leadership skills.

The School received an excellent assessment for both kindergarten and primary levels in the education quality assessment by the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC). Grade 6 students also achieved an average score of 60 percent in O-NET examination, and the School was awarded silver medal certification by OPEC.
