H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Gives a Lecture to Participants from the 1st Chaipattana Foundation’s Leadership Programme for Sustainable Development

On 21 September, 2016, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over Princess of Narathiwat University in Narathiwat province to give a special lecture to participants from the 1st Chaipattana Foundation’s Leadership Programme for Sustainable Development.


The objectives of this royal initiated programme are to create qualified leaders who are innovative, have a moral sense and have a courage to change and take the right actions. It aims to create ethical leaders who are responsible to the society and environment, and can be competent Change Agents leading the country towards sustainable development. Her Royal Highness was an honorary president of the programme and Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, the Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, was appointed to be director of this programme.


The training period started from 30 June to 30 September, 2016.  In the training, participants were trained with 19 academic subjects lectured by specialists from various fields such as Wor Vachiramethi, Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Dr. Somkiat Tangkitvanich, and Dr.Somjai Phagaphasvivat to name a few.
