Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Visits Agriculture and Forestry Development Center at Nongtao Savannakhet Sub-district, Laos PDR

On January 13, 2017, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Agriculture and Forestry Development Center at Nongtao Savannakhet Sub-district, Laos, to follow up on the work progress.

In 2014, Her Royal Highness traveled to the Agriculture and Forestry Development Center to preside over the opening ceremony. In the first few years, the basic structure was developed along with academic exchange programs between Thailand and Laos in agriculture, irrigation, livestock, fishery and vocational training.

Her Royal Highness also traveled to Pratomsomboon Banponesim School to witness the activities of the mobile public relations center under the responsible of the Agriculture and Forestry Development Center. This mobile center was established with an aim to distribute news, information and activities of the Agriculture and Forestry Development Center. The products from local farms are distributed and sold to those who live in surrounding areas. In this way, people who live around the Agriculture and Forestry Development Center receive benefits. They can earn better livings and involve more in the Center’s activities.
