Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presides over the Chaipattana Foundation’s Annual Committee Meeting 1/2017

 On 27 December 2017, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the Chaipattana Foundation’s Annual Committee Meeting 1/2017. The details of the said meeting are as follow.

In the year 2016, 13 plots of land with the total area of 90 rai, 3 ngan, 15.6 square wah (36.3 acres) were donated to the Chaipattana Foundation. The donated area includes 6 plots in the central part, 4 plots in the northeastern part, 1 plot in the southern part, and 2 plots in the northern part. The Chaipattana Foundation altogether owns 538 plots in 55 provinces with the overall area of 10,014 rai, 3 ngan, 19.9 square wah (4,005.9 acres).

The Chaipattana Foundation has utilized the aforementioned land based on the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (the founder of the Chaipattana Foundation) and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (the honorary president of the Chaipattana Foundation) for various and comprehensive development purposes, focusing on the community integration of all levels. At present, there are 142 development projects under the responsibility of the Chaipattana Foundation. The said projects are in various fields, such as, agriculture, society, environment, renewable energy, foreign affairs, etc.
