Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Visits the Chaipattana Land Development Project in Ban Doi Kom, Ban Hong District, Lamphun Province

On 21 August 2018, at 2 pm., Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Chaipattana Land Development Project in Ban Doi Kom, Ban Hong District, Lamphun Province. The operation of this project is based on the royal initiatives about the chemical-free demonstration agricultural plot. The project is also expected to be the center of results from development researches on new agricultural technology. The emphasis is placed on the cultivation of longan, the cash crop of northern region. Thereby, the project focuses on growing process, development of longan’s quality, processing, and distribution of longan. The project is deemed as one of the successful study and development centers on longan cultivation in Thailand.
