Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Observes the Operations of “Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Soldiers)

On 5 August 2019, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn proceeded to Army Quartermaster Department, Nong Sarai Sub-district, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, to observe the operation progress of “Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Soldiers)”.

Thanks to the royal grace of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Soldiers) received high quality vegetable seeds from Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development of the Chaipattana Foundation, which can be stored for further planting. The military officers shall be trained at the vegetable gardens in order to learn about safe vegetable cultivation at Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development, Chiang Rai province.

In addition, vegetable seeds are given to the conscription officers to grow in their home so that they could have safe vegetables for consumption in the household. The surplus of these vegetables can be sold for additional income and for creation of a network of safe vegetables in the community.
