The project “Ban Nee Mee Rak Plook Pak Kin Aeng” (grow vegetable for your own consumption) was set up based on the sufficiency economy philosophy of His Late Majesty.  The project aims to encourage military personnel to grow vegetable for household consumption and the surplus could be sold at low price and shared with neighbors.

Nile Tilapia Raising Project “Friends for Friends” was established with an intention to create food source for military personnel. The Nile Tilapia provides high protein and could be processed to a variety of products such as Nile Tilapia chili paste, pickled fish, dried fish, etc.

Layer Duck Project was set up for raising Bang Pa Kong Egg Duck. The eggs are used for cooking in military academy and the surplus are sold to the communities nearby. The eggs also could be processed to salted egg with pandan leaves.

The Project "Tang Nee Mee Phol Poo Kon Rak Kan” (Share the Love, Share the Veggies) aims to encourage military personnel to grow royally-granted seedlings in the project’s area, and the products are used for consumption. This project is expected to create love and unity among military personnel as well.

In addition, there are 5 activities to support the implementation of the project, i.e., Trichoderma propagation (helps prevent plant diseases caused by soil fungi), bio-fermentation production, earthworms raising, wood vinegar production, and royally-granted formula of compost. These produces are used for enriching crops in the project’s areas and also for further distribution to people.

At present, Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Farmer Soldiers) at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy has been extended with the 2nd phase by producing the royally-granted vegetable seeds “Friends for Friends” for further distribution to the community.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness also presented the vegetable seeds and had a conversation with military personnel at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy.
