Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presents True Negative Pressure Chambers and Semi ICU Chambers to 32 Hospitals

On 15 October 2021, medical personnel from 32 hospitals together with Chaipattana Foundation executive committee were granted an audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously presented True Negative Pressure Chambers and Semi ICU chambers to 32 hospitals. The ceremony took place at Dusidalai Hall Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace, Bangkok.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted a permission to the Chaipattana Foundation to allocate some of the money from the “Chaipattana Covid-19 Aid Fund (and Other Pandemics)” to construct True Negative Pressure Chamber and transform the regular wards into Semi ICU. During the 1st wave of the pandemic, the True Negative Pressure Energy Recovery Ventilators Chambers were provided to 9 hospitals, in 5 regions of Thailand.

In August 2021, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted a permission to the Chaipattana Foundation to promote the news regarding the construction of True Negative Pressure Energy Recovery Ventilators Chamber and the conversion of regular wards to Semi ICU. At present, True Negative Pressure Chambers have been presented to 32 hospitals; 22 hospitals have received True Negative Pressure Chamber, and 10 hospitals have been converted to Semi ICUs. This medical equipment will be used for COVID-19 treatment and in the future it could be used as a treatment room for cancer and immunocompromised patients as well as respiratory infection patients.

  2. Na Pho Hospital, Buriram Province
  3. Faculty of Dentistry Mahidol University
  4. Faculty of Dentistry Chulalongkorn University
  5. Sampran Hospital, Nakhon Pathom Province
  6. Phahon Phon Yuhasena Hospital, Kanchanaburi Province
  7. Surin Hospital
  8. Chumphon Buri Hospital, Surin Province
  9. Rayong Hospital
  10. Mae Sot Hospital, Tak Province
  11. Uttaradit Hospital
  12. Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital, Chiang Rai Province
  13. Ratchapipat Hospital
  14. Rajaprachasamasai Institute
  15. Samut Sakhon Hospital
  16. Aranyaprathet Hospital, Sa Kaeo Province
  17. Lat Krabang Hospital, Bangkok
  18. Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital
  19. Tha Phae Hospital
  20. Yala Hospital
  21. Rajavithi Hospital
  22. The regular wards in 10 hospitals were converted to Semi ICUs as follows:

  5. Pathum Thani Hospital
  6. Bang Lamung Hospital, Chonburi Province
  7. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital
  8. Saraburi Hospital
  9. Phrapokklao Hospital, Chanthaburi Province
  10. Wachira Hospital

True Negative Pressure System is a technology of Saijo Denki International Co., Ltd. It is an innovation from Thai Company certified by international standards, WHO, and CDC United States. It was also tested by King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi and Mahidol University. Thanks to this system, the medical personnel are ensured to be safe while performing their duties. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously delivered a speech to medical personnel as a moral support.
