Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Observes “Contemporary Thai Dress” Made from Silk Produced by the Chaipattana Foundation’s Projects

On 22 June 2025, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the musical and performing arts event titled “70th Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn: A Celebration of National Artists 2025” at Thailand Cultural Centre. Mrs. Bhakamol Rattaseri, Member and Deputy Treasurer of the Chaipattana Foundation, was in attendance to receive Her Royal Highness.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness observed the honorary exhibition featuring “Contemporary Thai Dress” designed and tailored by Mr. Teeraphan Wannarat, National Artist. The Chaipattana Foundation supported this initiative with silk from Chaipattana Foundation’s Integrated Sericulture Learning Center Project in Ban Khwao District, Chaiyaphum Province. This project was established under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness to promote the preservation and revival of traditional silk weaving as a source of local pride and sustainable livelihood. It also aims to encourage the use of natural dyes to maintain the uniqueness of community craftsmanship. Proceeds from the auction of the “Contemporary Thai Dress” were donated by Mr. Teeraphan Wannarat to support the Chaipattana Foundation.
