Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Follows Up on the Thaharn Phandee Project (The Good Farmer Soldiers) at Phra Yot Mueang Khwang Camp, Nakhon Phanom Province

On 18 June 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Phra Yot Mueang Khwang Camp in Kuru Khu Sub-district, Mueang Nakhon Phanom District, Nakhon Phanom Province, to follow up on the implementation of Thaharn Phandee Project (The Good Farmer Soldiers).

The project at Phra Yot Mueang Khwang Camp has been jointly implemented since 2022 by the 210th Military Circle and the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment on an area of 126 rai (49.8 acres). The site includes safe vegetable plots, medicinal herb gardens, livestock farming areas, the “Baan Nee Mee Rak Plook Pak Kin Aeng” (Grow the Veggies in the Home of Love), and “Tang Nee Mee Phol Poo Kon Rak Kan” (Share the Love, Share the Veggies). The produce is used to prepare meals for conscripted soldiers, while surplus products are sold to generate income for purchasing equipment and supporting project operations. The project also produces vegetable seeds for the “Friends for Friends” Royally-granted Seed Production Project in the Upper Northeastern Region, providing royally-granted seeds to communities affected by natural disasters.

During the visit, Her Royal Highness proceeded to the Integrated Agricultural Learning Center of the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, where Her Royal Highness graciously released breeding pairs of Chitralada Nile tilapia into the fish ponds. Her Royal Highness also observed the raising of Suthai pigs, Kabin Buri Muscovy ducks, and American Bronze and Beltsville Small White turkeys, as well as various agricultural demonstration activities along the route of the royal visit.

As part of the project's outreach under the “Chumchon Bergbarn Aharn Plod Pai” (Happy Community, Healthy Food) initiative, the 210th Military Circle has partnered with Ban Ramrat School in Tha Uthen District, Nakhon Phanom Province. The school has been encouraged to establish vegetable gardens and fish farming activities, with the produce being used to prepare nutritious school lunches for students.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously granted an audience to military personnel participating in the Thaharn Phandee Project (The Good Farmer Soldiers) at Phra Yot Mueang Khwang Camp, together with representatives of the relevant government agencies. Her Royal Highness delivered royal remarks to encourage and inspire them in carrying out their duties.
