HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visits flood-affected residents in Ayutthaya province

 

On 11 October, 2011, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn went to the Chaipattana Foundation Rice Mill (Demonstration and Integrated Renewable Energy Development Centre) in Lad Bua Luang district of Ayutthaya province to disseminate survival aids to flood victims.  On this occasion, the Governor of Ayutthaya as well as the District Chief Office of Lad Bua Luang presented her with a summary report of the flood situation in the province.

 

Then Her Royal Highness proceeded to Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Lumsai sub-district, Wang Noi district of Ayutthaya province to visit the Chaipattana Foundation Aid and Restoration Centre for Flood Victims, which has been set up to shelter flood evacuees and disseminate donations and assistance to flood victims in Ayutthaya province and its vicinity.

In collaboration with the Royal Thai Army, the Thai Red Cross Society, Chitralada School, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, Yamaha Motor Thailand, Siam Cement Public Company Limited, and other public and private agencies, the Chaipattana Foundation have provided food and other necessities to flood evacuees and victims.
