Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana Proceeds to the "Late Princess Mother’s Garden", Phetchaburi Province
On 24 December 2020, Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana proceeded to observe the operation progress of the Late Princess Mother’s Garden, Phetchaburi Province.
Dated back to 5 April 1983, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great paid a visit to Huai Sai and granted a royal initiative to develop and rehabilitate the land in this area for agricultural purpose due to the very arid and deteriorated condition.
As a result, the Late Princess Mother’s Garden was then established according to His Late Majesty’s initiative, aiming to be an agricultural learning center in the form of a living natural museum. This project emphasizes simple methods of agricultural practices and small-scale outdoor activities for farmers to adopt and apply in their own context.
The Chaipattana Foundation has strictly adhered to His Late Majesty’s initiative as a roadmap to operate and develop the project. From arid and adversely deteriorated condition of land, this area has finally been transformed to be the abundant and fertile area.
